It's a great story, I loved watching that race. Also that Miata/MX-5 sounds amazing.

This guy drives manual with one leg. There are no excuses people. Automatics are for ladies.

Oh, you have a bad vagina?

What if we're the one armed man on the way to kill Richard Kimble's wife? Seems like that's a pretty good excuse. You want us *not* to check the gun on the way? You monster.

......unless lap times are your absolute goal.

Not only that, but apparently he still has issues with his right leg occasionally losing sensation. It's impressive he can drive let alone race.

I rolled my ankle once and it wouldn't get better after a couple of days. Drove my 6-speed to the doc about 30 minutes away who sent me over to the hospital, who told me it was broken in 4 places and needed to be in a cast now, knee to toes. So they did and I drove home. The wife was not as impressed as she could have been :P

You're scared of the facts. Im talking about those who are too lazy to move their 2 legs while sitting.

but lap times can also be acomplished in a manual.
but right.

Okay so let me be anally specific and say the fastest lap times possible are your goal. Then you kinda need a dual clutch auto or basically an automatic that has no clutch pedal.
In any case, the original post was the typical hate-bait that should really just be done away with on oppo and jalopnik. If someone doesn't want to drive stick, they don't need an excuse. And plenty of women drive stick. Just saying.

Thats right, it ok if a person wants to drive automatic, just dont make excuses as if there was a reason why manual its too hard.

You that tingle that starts in your back and then travels throughout your body? Yeah, that.
